My Philosophy
Success in development work isn't measured solely in statistics and project deliverables. It emerges when professional experience meets local wisdom in genuine collaboration. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of learning from countless individuals who demonstrated what authentic partnership looks like.
The photographs on this website capture moments from my work visits and travels – impressions that stayed with me long after returning home. Behind each image are stories and exchanges that shaped my understanding. While I always sought permission before taking these photos, I remain deeply conscious of the responsibility they represent. My hope is that they honor the individuals pictured and reflect, in some genuine way, the dignity and wisdom of the people who taught me so much about what meaningful development work truly means.

How I Got Here
My Professional Journey
After three decades in international development as an Agricultural Extension Specialist and Project Coordinator, working across diverse contexts from Ethiopia to Haiti, I once believed that successful projects were primarily defined by numbers, reports, and measurable outcomes.
Today I know better: The most valuable insights came from the people who showed me what true partnership means – and how professional expertise and local knowledge can enrich each other.
